Follow the OpenAI usage dashboard link below and sign in directly with OpenAI. Confirm the account and workspace. NextReset never asks for your OpenAI password or an API key to view public announcements.
Read the limit that is actually exhausted
Check the allowance, credit balance, and reset time shown. Different task choices can use different amounts of allowance: model, task complexity, context, reasoning, speed and tools all matter. Avoid comparing two people’s message counts as if each message had the same cost.
Compare dates with the right context
An announcement time, an archive observation, and your account’s reset time describe different things. A source might report a rollout before it reaches your account. For the public record, inspect the source and scope; for your remaining usage, rely on your account display.
